Self exceptance-23

Those who see all creatures within themselves and themselves within all creatures know no fear.  Those who see all creatures in themselves and themselves in all creatures know no grief.  How can the multiplicity of life delude the one who sees its unity?

Isha Upanishad 6-7

My yoga journey began when I took my first yoga class with my mom at about 10 years old.  Yoga has been a part of my life in one way or another since then.  I did my first teacher training in 2012 at Yoga to the People in San Francisco and began teaching a 26 posture hot sequence.  Since then I have completed a 200-hour vinyasa training, 500-hour ashtanga training, 50-hour rocket training, 50-hour yin and deep stretch training, and a 50-hour barre medicine training.

My classes are an eclectic mix of what inspires me.  I emphasize breathing, alignment, and curiosity.  It is my goal to encourage students to responsibly explore their own capability and test their edge.

I believe yoga is for everyone and am happy to hold outdoor community classes in Maui. The classes often include the option to participate in a dive, beach cleanup, hike, or other multi-faceted activity.  If you’d like to join me for a yoga class, follow me on GoSesh to see public offerings or join my email list for up to date information on when and where we meet.  https://www.gosesh.co/c/cj8336.

I also offer private sessions and yoga counseling plans.

If you are part of a yoga studio or group, I offer workshops in healthy alignment and backbends, bandhas, rocket yoga, and Thai massage.  If you’d like to schedule a workshop please contact me via email or through the site.

I am currently filming a series of yoga classes and they will be available online soon.  Stay tuned!
